Written Quotes

Our company policy is to provide free written proposals (not estimates) detailing the exact cost of service for our clients. We feel it is important that we take the initiative to invest our time and effort to view your home in person to determine the exact scope of work – after more than 30 years in business we understand that there are just to many variables to consider. Quoting over the phone would be fast and convenient for us, but this type of estimate would be mostly useless for you. A site visit insures that our relationship gets of to a good start.

By doing so, you can have complete confidence in our final pricing, knowing that you will not be hit with an escalation of cost added to a “base rate” once all the extra items like section/French glass, doors, door & skylights, casements, transoms, storm windows etc. are calculated after the work is completed.

You’ll be fully satisfied with the quality of our work before any money changes hands.

Cancellation Policy

Please be aware that our business is seasonal, and that we are further limited by adverse weather and last minute cancellations. Cancellations and missed appointments are very costly to our employees who count on working as many hours as possible in-season to overcome the hours lost during winter months. For these reasons, we prefer to keep appointments in spite of impending rain or light drizzle. (If our work were ruined after it rained, we wouldn’t be in business very long!)
But our customers always have the last word on cancellations.
In cases of inclement weather, work will be rescheduled at the next earliest, mutually convenient time. In the best interest of our staff, and other customers waiting for service, unnecessary cancellations will be rescheduled after all outstanding work is completed.

Payment Policy

Payment is due upon completion unless other arrangements are made in advance. Thank you for your cooperation.
Please make all checks payable to “ESTATE.”
If you would like to pay by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) please ask to be invoiced electronically.
Your electronic invoice will include a link to PayPal for secure online bill paying. We don’t offer off-line credit card payment at this time.
